Doctoral Internship I

Doctoral Counseling Ed & Super College of Adult and Graduate Studies

Course Description

In this course, students complete part of their 600 internship hours by teaching or assisting with teaching masters-level counseling courses under the guidance of a faculty supervisor/on-site supervisor. The primary objective is to apply the instructional techniques and knowledge gained from their doctoral coursework. Additionally, students may participate in counseling, supervision, research, leadership, and advocacy activities as opportunities arise and with the approval from their internship instructor.
