This course focuses on the writing process essential in college composition, including the revision step which develops writing to the high standards of effective written communication. Structure, purpose, and appropriate use of resources will be emphasized as critical elements of strong academic writing. This course will lay the foundation for the extensive and varied writing that will follow in all fields of study. Note: Course should be completed prior to the completion of 60 credit hours.
